Choosing antivirus these days need flair. Not all antivirus have the same ability. Some of them capable in eradicating certain viruses, and some only capable of detecting local virus.

But to help pursing the option of antivirus product line, it is advisable to see a review from independent testing agencies, such as the AV-Comparatives.org. Now, for threat detection business, the three independent testing agency – AV-Comparatives.org, AV-Test.org, and Dennis Technology Lab – agreed to appoint Norton security products, including Quorum-based techniques, as effective virus protection.

Dennis Technology Lab which is testing the effectiveness of 10 security product  when comparing the anti-malware mention that Norton Internet Security 2010 appears as the only product with excellent detection "in the face of all threats and fully protect systems from attack or infection".

Norton Internet Security 2010 also recorded by AV-Test.org that testing 25 different malware samples in infected Pc as successfully detect and remove all infections.

While Norton AntiVirus 2010 was rewarded rating "Advanced +" (the highest for protection) by AV-Comparatives.org in Anti-Virus comparatives Test No. 23. Symantec also received a rating of "Fast" for highest scan speed.

"All of these tests includes important benchmarks, but very different in security testing. But it all came to the same conclusion-Norton is the best offer in its class", explained David Hall (Consumer Product Marketing Manager, Asia Pacific, Symantec). "Symantec products with security technology based on our reputation for new and advanced heuristics, to show their ability to provide protection to millions of threats to keep the level of the lowest false positive and the highest performance across the tested products".

Some tech products Quorum Symantec Norton 360 is a beta version 4.0, Norton Internet Security 2010 and Norton AntiVirus 2010.
